Love Stobel and Jesus and the bible, but not this
By Woodman
At first the questions were very thought prevoking and engaging and allowed for very fruitful conversation! But the opening paragraphs were very corny and sometimes awkward to read. The author really could have done a better job at constructing the questions, excerpts. Although this is tough questions for non Christians some of the questions are blunt for someone who isn't a Christian. It's obviously biased towards Christianity which is okay(because I'm Christian) but it's supposed to be for both nonchristians and Christians. But the questions that are biased are ones that would anger or cause people to leave , but then everything else is vaguely neutral. Example is aren't jehova witness Mormons Christians also? Then it proceeds to call Mormons or Jehovas cult and asks the group of they think they are a cult. I love Lee strobel and his other work, but this book was a huge let down. I was so excited about this but it was not what I expected. This would be a awesome small group study for all ready believers to grow and challenge what and why they believe what they believe, but it was hard for people who are non Christians to discern the truth mixed in with all the philosophy. Love the book for myself but not for people seeking spiritual truth.

Incredible experience with college age kids!
By Zoo Keeper
This is an incredible book - it has the ability to change lives and it is EASY!! I have been working with youth for about 10 years and have never come across something that packs as powerful a punch as this book. I read Garry Poole's book, "Seeker Small Group" this past spring and felt convicted that I needed to do something like what he was talking about. As he said, having been a Christian for many years, the number of adult non-Christians that I know well are very, very few. I continued to mull over his Seeker book and purchased "Don't All Religions Lead to God", just to see what it was all about. That is when it hit me: Youth! I have good repore with youth due to my years as a Sunday school teacher. I have been firmly convicted for several years that youth of today have trouble claiming Christianity as the way to Christ/God/Heaven. I reserved a local coffee shop after hours, sent out a mass text to former students 19 years or older, told them to ask friends, and that's all it took. I had 12 the first time, and between 13 and 15 the next 4 times. They were bringing their friends... Incredible discussion, lots of opinions, I can't say enough good things about this book. I did get the Leaders Guide - you really can't do the study properly without it. The kids didn't want it to end and were asking me if we could do another one when they come home from college at Christmas and also next summer! And trust me, it wasn't because of me - I simply acted as the facilitator.
Way to go Garry Poole - homerun!

very impressed with handling a difficult and great question
By Noah Filipiak
This is a great book for leading a group of seekers. It's not going to work for your traditional church small group of Christians, that isn't what it's designed for. It does a great job of asking open questions that give everyone a chance to give their feedback and ownership of the conversation, while at the same time the questions lead towards a conclusion that makes sense with the Gospel. Highly recommended for working with non-Christians.
